PLACES ONES CALLED HOME.

He is a charming man (over email), a creative mind and such a talented artist. He see's himself as an educator and a father of three 10 years from now, believes in happiness and nothing more, and can describe the most simplest of things, like an aquarium, with such poetry. Please meet, Scott Foley.

Where does your creativity come from?
To be quite honest, I have not a clue where my creativity comes from. But what I do know is that when others showcase their own creativity, it makes me want to do the same. I get filled with passion, and I want to get out there with my camera in hand immediately. I believe everything can act as source of personal inspiration in someway - from the leaves to an earlobe.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I would be in the world's largest aquarium, with a beautiful woman. I have had this image in my mind lately of an innocent, yet stunning, female face silhouetted by a deep blue moving wall behind her. I love the silence and intimacy of aquariums. Public yet private.

What keeps you up at night?

My past and future keep me awake at night, rarely my present.

Why do you do what you do?

I do what I do because I want to score as many chicks as physically possible. That's a lie, kind of. I do what I do because it makes me happy. I believe there is nothing as important. Well, perhaps love, but I do not see the two as separate entities.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself married to the women of my dreams and my reality. I see myself as a father of 2 children, with a third one on the way. I see myself working full-time as an educator and enjoying it, while still making films and taking photos on the side. I see a smile on my face.

Describe you and your videos in one sentence.

A well of passion, sex, skin, depression, joy, rage, confusion, patiently waiting for your bucket.

Where do you want to be when you wake up?

If I could wake up anywhere, I would wake up in my bed before leaving for college. There are a few choices I would have made differently, and I think regret is real.

THE PINK MOUSTACHE CAMPAIGN!

We're online this morning found a series of black and white photos, with pink moustache pasted on it. We were questioning ourselves why. After few clicks we found out that it was a campaign for the opening of two new stores and the campaign, it's an interesting one.

So there will be a new store in town lad and lassies!

1. What is pink moustache campaign?
Pink Moustache is a short campaign hosted by Voila Store and Soled Store. Voila store is a new consignment store that carries a wide range of women's local brands. Whilst Soled is a shoe stores that carries local footwear brands (mostly men's shoes). The pink moustache it self is actually the logo of voila store. This whole campaign is a branding strategy for voila store, to mark its existence in Jakarta retail map.

2. What is the objectives of the pink moustache campaign?
The campaign's objectives are basically to raise awareness for many good quality local brands and to welcome the new store.

3. Why pink?
Well pink because Voila is a girl store. Pink. As simple as that.

4. After people send their address (which I don't know what kind of address you guys were referring to, is it home address, or website or what?) what will they get?
Home address..they'll get an invitation via post..but for now the list is full..and they'll just get an e-invitation

5. What kind of products were you guys specifically referring to?
Voila - Clothes and accessories -Proud Parents, Lilou, Never Understand, Eclectica, Screaing Cheap, Sou Brette
Soled - Naima, suedehead, amble

So lads and lassies,
As easy and fun as it sounds, support 'pink moustache' by attaching the 'stache on your picture and use it as your profile picture from aug 21st - sept 3rd.
Ask your friends to join by creating the pink moustache album, just like this one.

WELCOMING ALGEBRA

Hello~ This is not an interview, not an album review nor a travel diary, this post is just a little welcome greet for our "big" little gift we had for our self! We can call this as... A semester break gift. Yaaaay~

Photobucket
PS: Silly us, we actually scanned the camera. But look what we did, WE JUST MADE AN AWESOME PHOTO!

Lads and Lassies, introducing and welcoming new member of the About family, Algebra Jr.
Obviously an Instax 120, not a handy camera, it's even wider than most of DSLR cameras. But Algebra came just in time, because we promised ourselves that starting from now, if we have a live interview, we'll have them snapped by Algebra.

Oh well, first trial is always fun!
Have fun reading our posts, requests of artists, places, gig or album you want us to review can be sent to our email, hellotostrangers@live.com yes.
